Some centers may conduct a simple online interview or ask about prior Chinese learning experience.

When are the application deadlines?

  • Fall Intake (September) – Apply by February–May
  • Spring Intake (February) – Apply by September–November
  • Language schools usually offer rolling admissions or quarterly intakes (January, April, Juy, October)

What standardized exams do students need to take?

  • TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) – Required for degree programs in Mandarin
